Live Aid 1985 - The Cars - "Drive"

As I mentioned in my last post, this week saw the 25th anniversary of Live Aid. Watching the documentary about it, I was reminded of this piece of film. It is probably the most moving film I have ever seen, and still retains its power to this day. Watch it again, and remember that there is still too much suffering on this planet, and that we as a world should look after each other.

The world doesn't have to be like this.

My sentiments exactly. I believe that when we arrive here on Earth we are sent here to look after each other. We are our brother and sister's keeper. What a powerful video!

The problem is that the countries of world aren't good at looking after each other. Good at starting wars though! Multi Billions are currently being spent on a couple of wars that should have never started, yet millions are starving all over the world. It's a crazy messed up planet we live on sometimes!

I think as Dori says, we are sent to look after each other. What governments get up to isn't the be all and end all. Live Aid, and Band Aid before it, proved that the people of the world can make a huge difference when they put their minds to it. We don't have to wait to be told, we can all make the difference ourselves.
